On September 6, Kang Yanmin, Secretary of Cangzhou Municipal Committee, He Chunjun, Tian Jianing, Standing Committee of Cangzhou Municipal Committee, Xue Qingsong, Dai Shusheng, Wang Xiaoling, Liu Qiang, Vice Mayor and other city leaders visited Haijiang Group's green demolition project of Garden Expo for investigation and research. Party branch secretary of Haijiang Group, Gao Qiying, deputy general manager Chu Long, Li Guodong, Ye Jun and other senior leaders of the group accompanied this research process.
Kang Yanmin and other city leaders have gone to Nanchuan Building, the former Chengzi Village and Workers' Cultural Palace, Dahua plant and other places to check the progress of related projects, and listened to the report of the person in charge of each area on the progress of the project.
Kang Yanmin pointed out that the construction of the Park Expo is an important task given by the provincial party committee and provincial government, but also an important element of the construction of the Grand Canal Cultural Belt. All departments at all levels must enhance the sense of responsibility and urgency, adhere to strict requirements and high standards, to promote the construction of the Garden Expo Park in a strong and orderly manner and effectively to ensure that the work is completed on schedule and with high quality. Kang Yanmin stressed the need to strengthen organizational leadership, strengthen departmental coordination, and make every effort to promote the Park Expo and key projects along the canal to accelerate the creation of the Grand Canal sparkling cultural belt, green ecological belt, colorful tourism belt, and effectively enhance the image of Cangzhou, to reflect the civilization of the Lion City, and to demonstrate cultural confidence.
The demolition work of part of the Garden Expo Project undertaken by Haijiang Group is in progress. Following the important instruction of General Secretary Xi Jinping to "protect, inherit and utilize" the Grand Canal, Haijiang Group is fully committed to assisting Cangzhou Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government to promote the construction of the Grand Canal Cultural Belt. We will keep improving, live up to the expectations, strictly control the quality of the project, and ensure that the demolition work will be completed quickly and efficiently, so as to achieve green, environmental protection and waste-free demolition, and help the construction of the Grand Canal Cultural Belt in Cangzhou with practical actions.
This year, Cangzhou City has implemented 21 key projects along the Grand Canal, including the Nanchuan Building and Longin Building projects, with the aim of creating a new stage of high-quality leapfrog development along the canal. Among them, the Grand Canal Intangible Cultural Heritage Park project is a key promotion project and is also the first national Grand Canal project settled in Cangzhou. The park covers a total area of about 3,700 mu, with a total investment of about 5.9 billion yuan, consisting of a garden and a center for the display of the intangible cultural heritage of the Grand Canal. The Garden Expo is the site of the sixth Provincial Garden Expo in 2022. It is about 2,600 meters long from north to south and 800 to 1,100 meters wide from east to west, covering a total area of about 3,000 acres, and is scheduled to be completed and opened in August 2022.
